Slowly strolling through the cobbled stoned streets in the afternoon sun, it becomes obvious that the Milanese are strong advocates of the Italian phrase “Fare bella figura”. The men look fine and dandy in their business suits whilst riding their bicycles, the transport du jour for the stylish, whilst the ladies have proven that even in the sweltering heat you can still manage to look chic.

 

1 July means one thing, sales! I wasn’t the only person who was astounded at the throng of crowds awaiting for the holy doors of the boutiques to open. The Gucci store alone had a line-up of more than two hundred metres! Oh, the things we do for fashion! Seeking refuge from the crowds in a little laneway, I managed to snap a photo of these two models who were looking incredibly sassy in their summer ensembles.
